OOC: Don't you still have Littlelight to RP?

IC: Otternight gave a worried glance to the other leaders, for his was nowhere in sight. Great, i'll have to speak at this point.
As he was Riverclan born, he seemed even more frightened to speak, maybe others would think something was wrong.

Splattertop nodded softly, nudging the kit forward into the crowded clearing.

( Sorry, a bit unfinished, GTG!)

Diamondstar nodded slightly to herself, glad that her Clan-mates were doing so well up to this point, but the leader reminded herself not to get too excited, for that simply will not do for a Clan leader.

((gathering had begun, Leafstar had already spoken and was waiting for Brokenstar to speak... I'll just move on.))

Leafstar nodded, before turning to look at her clanmates.
Tommystar couldn't take any more waiting, he jumped in, "Shadowclan's been very well. We found a kit on our border, and are currently taking care of our new clanmate."

Jaystar and Tigerstar both looked at Tommystar, rather annoyed with his impatience, but didn't say anything. Calmly Jaystar began, "The river has been almost overflowing with fish, but as the weather is getting warmer, the river is slowly sinking. We've been having to reach further to fish, but we are doing strong."

Tigerstar nodded, "Windclan has had a dog stray onto our territory, but we fought it off."
"One dog?" Leafstar joked.
"Yes." He looked at her sharply, "It was one dog. It's Twoleg yowled it away."
Leafstar remained silent.

OOC: SS, I'll just make Diamondstar talk when all the leaders finish.

Leafstar waited patiently for the other leaders to speak.

OOC: I guess I'll take a try

IC: Otternight slyly gazed at his leader, Don't forget the badger that almost killed our whole clan, he added in his mind.

Flowingwhisp's eyes traced across the camp, not sure of where her son was. She wanted the urge to say something to him, but hadn't plotted out how.

Splattertop listened, but didn't watch, his eyes analyzing the crowd slowly to find a spot to sit. With luck, he found enough space to where Skyclan would have lied. He padded over to the slightly open area, and sat down, his tail hiding his paws.

Poppykit shyly walked beside Splattertop, her ears flattened and her soft-kit fur bristling

Diamondstar's heartbeat quickened slightly. Is it her turn to speak? Out of hte corner of her eye, the EclipseClan leader saw Poppykit--Poppypaw, she silently reminded herself--and Splattertop sitting together. However, something was amiss. The she-cat finally realized that SkyClan hadn't arrived yet--or are they coming at all?

Brokemstar stepped forward, indicating it was his turn to speak.
"Cats of the Clans, I, Brokenstar, would like to invite you to join NightClan."
Moonleaf purred as murmurs of shock passed through the crowd of cats.

OOC: Anyone joining?

OOC: I don't have any NightClan cats.


IC: Autumnspark's eyes glowed fiercely as she tried hard to keep still, like a true warrior. This was only her second time coming to the Gathering, and she was hoping to make a few friends from the other Clans.

Otterpool hissed in reply, unsheathing his claws by instinct, " You? Your flea bitten clan and sprawled disgust? Who would ever want to join you?!" He yelled, swishing his tail from side to side.

Flowingwhisp's ears raised to the sound of her son, He really is here. She lifted herself from where she sat, and attempted to get through to the deputy of Windclan,
Her son.

Splattertop growled to the guts this leader had, sounding too much like Bloodclan with their unsheathed claws and bloodthirsty ambitions.

Debrispaw for some reason felt warm inside, to hear the hisses and growls of the other clans. Great, then no one else will be dumb enough to join! This is perfect, no more disgusting rogue blood.

With the thought of everyone rejecting, a mew from near the edge of the clearing called out.
"I will."

Leafstar for some strange reason rose her head, too peer over at the meow. But then decided to address the cats, "It would be a smart move, if we all combine, then there will be no need for clan fights, and we could stand better against badgers or dogs."
Tigerstar hissed, "Have you gone mousebrained? There has always been our clans, who would you be kidding?"
Leafstar turned on him, "If we combine, we could drive out crowfood like you!"

Leopardpaw just watched with wide eyes, he'd never thought this would happen at his first gathering.
Stormtail hesitated to say anything, Goldenear turned her head to the sky, half expecting a cloud to drift over the full moon, but she couldn't see anything at that moment. Does Starclan approve of this?

Poppykit looked out from behind Splattertop, "What's going on?" she mewed

featherpaw noticed the oddly small apprentice near Splattertop. I wonder if that apprentice is meant to be smaller.
Featherpaw made her way towards Poppykit, she sat down only a tail length away.

Splattertop closed his eyes as he explained what was happening. " Nightclan, another clan like us has asked all of the clans to join them." He spat to the thought, that Leafstar was actually thinking it to be a good idea. For once, He actually agreed with Tigerstar for once.

Damn it! Aristeal hissed to herself. Being the blabbermouth, why the hell did she yell that?! She's not clan born, she shouldn't have even been here! But something drew herself forward out of the shadows out of the outer wall of Fourtrees. She lied herself against Rockclan, feeling awkward to be to the side of all of these strange warriors and their religion.
But it was tempting. To see what these Forest cats had to offer. How would they react to her? Hehe, this is just beginning to get fun!

Otterpool flinched when a fluffed tail hit his side, he turned harshly to see his mother, Flowingwhisp. Not her! He thought, hissing slowly and stepping away from his mother with no thought of how this would make her feel.

Leafstar then turned to meow across the large gathering of cats, "I will speak with my clan, by the next half moon, I will let you, Brokenstar, know of whether Leafclan will join you."

Goldenear yowled out protest, "Never! We don't need to form alliences with the likes of them."

"Oh..." Poppypaw replied

Diamondstar, leader of EclipseClan, sat there, silent and observant. She was worried, yes, but didn't want to show, lest her Clan catch on her unspoken fear. If we were to combine, would StarClan be pleased? Won't there be a lot of conflict? But then again, it might be for the best.
The powerful she-cat cocked her head. And if we do combine, which Clan will go with who? Pangs of anxiety shot through her, but was forcefully pushed aside. If only StarClan can send us a sign or something to confirm our plans!


OOC: As Diamondstar says, can there be a sign?

Leafstar noticed a small wisp of cloud hovering near the moon. it was followed by a larger cloud, which engulfed the moon, a sign well known as Starclan being angry.
"Starclan's upset at us!" Lionfur meowed out.
"Fine, this gathering will be have to be called to a finish." Leafstar meowed at last.

"I-is it over, Splattertop?" Poppykit asked

" Afraid so. Starclan doesn't want a conflict to round up any more then it is, I guess." he paused to adjust his eyes to the now almost cave dark light.

"Can I eat when we get home?" Poppykit had just noticed her belly rumbling

Leafstar leaped down before anyone could protest, "Leafclan! We're leaving!" Leafstar demanded, calling her cats to join her.
Once they had arrived by her side, Leafstar lead them out of the gathering, leaving several murmurs of what it was that has happened.

Diamondstar winced inwardly, but put her shoulders back in a firm manner. Eyes glowing with determination, the EclipseClan leader called out, "EclipseClan! Let's go!"
