Sandstar padded up onto the Highslope, a strange rock just in front of her den. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here for a clan meeting!"

Featherpaw joined the clan meeting, she sat down at the front.

As soon as everyone gathered, she began. "It has been ages since we joined our fellow clans with anything. I doubt they even realize we still exist! Well, as clan leader, I saw we make an appearance at the gathering tonight!"

Featherpaw's ears twitched in excitement, she never knew what other clans were beyond thier borders.

Featherpaw jumped to her paws, Her claws were unsheathed as she tugged out the earth beneather her in excitement.

As the cats begsn to leave the clearing, she looked down at Featherpaw, beckoning her to follow, then headed into the leaders den.
