Welcomes and Ceremonies

The leader felt a smile creeping up on her face as she addressed the crowd of cats below her. "Than I am proud to present to you, Poppykit of EclipseClan!" Lowering herself to meet the kit, Diamondstar, oh so very briefly, touched noses with the new member of her Clan.

Poppykit felt happy inside, happy that this clan took her in and gave her a home, I'll give my life to this clan, she promised to herself

Diamondstar gave a curt nod to signal that the ceremonies were over.

Poppykit then ran down to Splattertop and gave a curt yawn "I'm hungry" she moaned "And I'm tired"

" Now slow down there," Splattertop purred cooly. " You can have some more prey, but only one, others have to eat too you know."
Splattertop stood up and stretched out his spine, letting out a small yawn. " I'll be in the nursery, it's just over there-" He paused to point over to the small den that was easily hidden amongst the others, " When your done eating, meet me in there, okay?"
He then strode away from Poppykit and padded over to where he explained he would be. He was going to prepare a moss bed for her.

After a quick scanning of the camp, Diamondstar, satisfied, leaped down from the rock with a graceful spring. "Thank you, Splattortop," the leader meowed to the medicine cat on her way back to her den. "Echowhisper?" Diamondstar called out.

Poppykit gave a small nod, then ran over and gobbled down a mouse. Poppykit then bounded down to the nursery where Splattertop told her to go.

Smokeshadow glared at the young kit as Poppykit bounced away. Even if this kit can handle our way, I doubt it'll stand a chance when Leafbare kicks in.
He snorted before fetching himself a mouse and sitting in the shade to eat in silence.

((XD I could just imagine if he gets Poppykit for an apprentice. Oh boy! You can tell he's not much of a kit kind hey? Not now anyway.))

OOC: Lol... Luckily I hope that changes when he gets kits of his own... he'll be a blabber mouth then i'd assume!

IC: Splattertop gave an appreciated smile as Poppykit flied through the entrance. " See, your already getting used to it after all that shyness!" He laughed as he did the equivalent of 'sewing' together the nest for their newcomer. I'll have no problem with her as my apprentice, he thought, reminding himself about how unwelcome they treated her at first.

OOC: I agree.


IC: Diamondstar nodded to acknowledge her deputy's presence. "I'll like for you to arrange the sunhigh patrol, Echowhisper." The leader meowed. "There's something I have to attend to."

Poppykit ducked her head at the remark, walking towards Splattertop "What did you want me to come here for?"

Smokeshadow decided to go see Rippleheart. and made his way towards her, as she was sunbathing in the sun while she could.
"Hello Rippleheart." He meowed as he neared her.
Rippleheart stretched out carefully to see him, "Hello Smokeshadow." Her mellow voice answered, "Did you want anything?"
"Company." Smokeshadow replied as he sat down near her.
"Have I ever told you about how I almost drowned from a lake when I was a kit?"
Smokeshadow nodded, "Yes, you were saved by a Loner then. it's your favourite story."
Rippleheart nodded, "Indeed. It's one I am hoping will live on even when I go to Starclan,"
Rippleheart noticed that Smokeshadow seemed distant, "Are you alright?"

"No." Smokeshadow replied through gritted teeth. Rippleheart didn't quite hear him.
"Speak up!" She snapped, "I'm not young like I once was."
"How do you deal with-" Smokeshadow was cut off by two kits, whom crashed right into him.
"Birdkit! Snakekit! Watch where you're going!" Smokeshadow snarled at the two kits.
Birdkit immediately coward, and crouched behind her older brother, who fluffed out is fur.
"We don't have to do what you say!"
"Yes you do you mouse-brain! You have to respect your seniors!"
"No we don't!" Snakekit replied bitterly.
"Why you little-"
"Smokeshadow!" Snapped Rippleheart, the two kits raced behind her, "You don't command what you can't control. If you ever have kits of your own, you don't shout at them."
She turned to the kits, "Could you please take care of those around you?"

Birdkit nodded, Snakekit lowered his head, glaring at Smokeshadow with cheakiness in his eyes.
"Then go on you two, go play."
The two kits raced off, Smokeshadow lay down.
"You'll find yourself a nice mate and you may have kits of your own," Rippleheart rasped, "Just take into consideration how the kits may feel, they're only kits."

She got up and headed off back to the elders den, leaving Smokeshadow behind.

Splattertop reassuringly lifted his full attention to Poppykit. " This is where you will be staying until your Six moons old. You need to know that so you don't slip up and sleep outside." He let out a purr as he smirked to his own joke.
" Now.. If you may, could you help me with that moss by your side? Bring it over here, if you may" he added daintily Pointing to the fresh, Dry moss at Poppykit's feet.

"Uh... s-sure" Poppykit replied, picking up the moss in her mouth and gingerly handing it to Splattertop

Birdkit and snakekit was playing nearby. "I'm an intruder! You attack me." Snakekit meowed to Birdkit, who nodded and crouched.
"I'll stop you!" She murmured.
Snakekit grinned, he's eyes almost glowing, "Not if I can help it!" He squeaked as he raced forwards, successfully takling her.
Birdkit squealing in fear as a flashback of memory hit her, "Stop! Stop!" She yowled.
Snakekit immediately leaped away from his sister, allowing her to bolt off.
Birdkit raced into the nursery, not knowing where she was going, she raced in and hid.
"Birdkit." Snakekit meowed quietly, "Birdkit, come out."
He got as close as the enterance, and could hear Birdkit sobbing. "Birdkit, I- I wasn't going to hurt you."
There was no reply, Snakekit lowered his tail and hug his head. "Go away! You were scary." Birdkit squeaked, and then continued her sobbing as her brother dragged his tail away, back to where they were playing before.

Poppykit stared blankly at the two kits

Birdkit's light brown fur was trembling and her bright amber eyes were clouded in fear. Birdkit didn't say anything, just stared at Poppykit nervously.

OOC: *Facepalm* Fail..... Hey.. Ezzie? Could you change what you said as medicine cat's den as Nursery? Because that's where Splattertop and Poppykit are... lol

IC:
Splattertop didn't yet give attention to the mute-like three until he was finished making the moss bed. When he was done, Splattertop lifted his head cooly to the two other clan born kits. " It's rude to stare you know, that includes you too Poppykit," He retorted angrily.

He paused as he gave the thought that they may have been in the nursery during the meeting.
"Snakekit, Birdkit, This is Poppykit, she is new to the clan, so please be nice to her. I'll leave it to you two to help her with showing the rest of the camp, I have to help out the elders with Ticks again." He gave a disgusted facial expression to the thought of getting his paws dirty with Mouse Bile... AGAIN! With that, he padded out of the den to leave the three alone and get together as he went to his own den.

((Got it, sorry about that. Also, my kits aren't clan born, just adopted.))

Snakekit growled under his breath, but it wasn't clear enough to be of a bother.
Birdkit nervously took a step forwards, "Hi." She meowed shyly.

Poppykit took a little step back and ducked her head

Smokeshadow chimed in with the clan, “Autumnspirit!, Autumnspirit!“
Another young warrior... Not like this clan is in any shortage of them.
