the tiger creeps closer... (open)

Brackenclaw was taking Firepaw out to hunt.
Firepaw's ears were alert for any danger and she obeyed in silence to what Brackenclaw instructed her. He must be stressed, since Mousetail's kits have arrived. I have to be like his apprentice, just until Mousetail doesn't have to care for their kits anymore.

"Firepaw, Can you scent anything?" Brackenclaw's voice broke into Firepaw's thoughts.
Firepaw parted her jaws, scenting the air, a scent reached her nose, but it wasn't prey.
"An intruder!" She hissed, shoving Brackenclaw into brambles.
He winced in pain and opened his jaws to question, but closed them again as a cat scent reached his nostrils.
A tiger striped tom padded out into the open. He was lead by Ginger, and Stonepaw.
Stonepaw! Firepaw almost growled, but remained silent, instead she dug her claws into the earth, her hackles rising and teeth bared.

Memories of Silverstar's death sweeped over her.
once the loners and the ex- Thunderclan tom had disappeared through the thorn barrier, Firepaw growled, "We have to let the clan know! they must be alerted that an attack is about to happen!"
"No." Brackenclaw growled, "It could be a trap."
Firepaw raced off, and disappeared in the enterance.

Brackenclaw growled, then raced after her.

Foxfang saw Brackenclaw and Firepaw in the distance, she bounded toward them "Is everything okay?" she hissed quietly

Tiger, Stonepaw and Ginger were forcing back a Thunderclan she- cat by the name of Foxfang. "Get out of the way, or I'll have no choice but to hurt you." Stonepaw growled, his voice was shaking, mainly in fear of being discovered.

Foxfang noticed Firepaw and stood in front of them "No way. I won't let you get away with Firepaw" she growled "With what ever you're doing"

Tiger whispered something into Stonepaw's ear, grim faced, Stonepaw nodded.
Ginger's hackles rose and her claws unsheathed as she watched Tiger drop Firepaw, and began slowly advancing on Foxfang. His amber eyes almost glowed with intensity, his fur on end made him heaps bigger and his claws were unsheathed.
He crouched, before pouncing, flying towards Foxfang.

IC: Foxfang was suprised by the attack, but she jumped to the side, "What are you doing here?!" she gasped.

Tinykit, who had sneaked out of camp, was watching the conflict from behind an oak tree. This was the first time she was outside camp, so most of her attention clustered together strangely. But she stopped when the familiar tone of Foxfang came across her small and acute ears.
Is that an intruder? she thought confusingly.
Her attention was drawn to the large and strangely scented Rogue, Tiger. With his strong paws bashing the ground, she gulped to think that it can be her head in that spot.

With the thought of a strategy, Tinykit sprang herself onto the trunk of the oak, her small claws scraping against the bark was quiet enough to go unnoticed as she etched her way up to the lowest branch.

Once he realized the Foxfang was no threat, Tiger sheathed his claws as he leaned forwards to hiss in Foxfang's ear, "Clan cats have kidnapped my mate! Stonepaw," he indicated with a twitch of his ear at Stonepaw, who was keeping his ears pricked and jaws parted for any signs of being followed, "Promised me that he will do no harm to her as long as I follow him."
His amber eyes burned in anger, and replaced his once teary and greif stricken expression.

Stonepaw growled, "Tinykit's been here."
"A kit isn't any problem! I can tear it to shreds!" Ginger hissed, tearing up the earth beneath her with violently sharp claws.
"No!" Stonepaw growled, he faced Tiger and ordered him to knock Foxfang out.
"No..." Tiger mumbled.
Ginger faced him, "No? You said no?"
Tiger hissed, "I refuse to hurt this she- cat. Surely we did enough to the rest of the clan. If she can walk, let her walk."
Ginger's hackles rose and her teeth bared as a deep growl in her throat grumbled out.
"Enough!" Stonepaw snarled, he turned to Ginger and meowed something softly in her ear.
He then faced Tiger, "Fine," He glanced at Foxfang as he adressed Tiger's idea, "If she can walk... we'll make her walk."
his voice was harshly cold, like a blizzard in leaf- bare.
Ginger then persisted, "But if she sees where she's going, she'll run back and alert the clan!"
"I know." Stonepaw replied, "That's why I'll get you to guard her when we get there."
"Why do I Have to?" Ginger exclaimed, "Why can't you get Tiger to guard her?"
"Because Tiger is much bigger and stronger then you," he meowed, then flashed a glare at Tiger as he continued, "But I reckon he has a weakness for her too."

A small figure on a branch took Tiger's attention.
Stonepaw followed his gaze, and spotted Tinykit on a branch, "Fine then Tiger... prove to me I can trust you, bring back that kit down here, and I may consider wether you guard the she- cat or not."
Tiger looked at the kit, then back at Stonepaw, "You're joking!"
Ginger shook her head as Stonepaw growled, "if you don't do it, then I'll consider the future for your mate." A devilish grin washed over his face as Tiger's ears dropped and his eyes widened. Reluctantly, Tiger turned and began scaling the tree with ease.

Foxfang let out another gasp and spotted Tinykit. Running over, she picked up Tinykit by the scruff and started to back away, "Why did you come here, Tinykit?" she mumbled.

Ginger snapped at Tiger, "Don't let them escape!"
Tiger, knowing how close Ginger was to Stonepaw, had no choice but to obey, he began to chase after Foxfang.

Foxfang started to run as fast as she could towards camp, at least I was here to try and save Tinykit she thought as she tripped on a tree root, "Run!" she called to Tinykit as Tinykit rolled out of her grip. "Run to the camp to Yarrowstream and get help!"

OOC: RP fail much? Tinykit is supposed to be in a tree, She's not on the ground and wasn't spotted Yet......

ooc: Really? As I recall, Tinykit was already spotted e___e

((I did see it say that Tinykit was in a tree, just Ginger saw there was a difference in how the tree's shadow appeared. Sorry, but if you want Tinykit can hide again? It's just I want the small group to head off to where the captives go, then leave to conquer the next clan... And what's with people saying Tiger is a rogue? He's a kittypet that his twolegs didn't neuter because they wanted Belle to have a litter.))

Tiger almost ran past Foxfang, digging in his right paw, he spun around and halted abruptly between her and Tinykit. He couldn't help it, but there was a look about Foxfang that reminded Tiger of someone very important to him.
I either obey, and get Belle... or I don't and will have this she- cat.

IC: Foxfang limped back up, "What do you want here?" she sneered

Tiger's tail lashed to one side, he sighed, "Please come with us quietly, I don't want to hurt you... you remind me so much of... her..."

Tinykit lowered her gaze angrily, I'm not going to let Foxfang go alone! Especially with those rats!
Even though her gaze didn't show fear, she attempted to look frightened and eyes wide as an owl's.

With a small squeal, she ran away in a quick, retreating dash. But the second she was out of line sight, she made an awkward 90 degree turn behind a bush. The scent of it seemed very close to the nursery, so she had high hopes that it could work.

Ginger took off after the kit, but lost sign of Tinykit's scent. All she could smell was prey and bushes.

"Of who?" Foxfang narrowed her eyes, slightly backing away, not noticing Tinykit ran.

Tiger hesitated, his pupils that were once slits had dialated, "Of Belle..." He responded at last, gnoring Ginger's call for help. She can do it all on her own! She must think I'm stupid enough to follow her.

Foxfang backed away and let out a growl, "I'll never go with you. I belong with my Clan"

The slits returned to Tiger's eyes, "Then I have no choice..."
Finally, he leaped at Foxfang.

Tinykit felt adrenaline again come into action as he saw to what she hypothesized as a rogue, spring into action. But he wasn't going to be the only one. She didn't want to be a kit anymore, she wanted to help.

With no other thought, Tinykit leaped from his only cover towards Ginger, griping as hard as she could to the sleek flank of this intruder. She knew that attacking Tiger would be useless, so her thought was to at least take down someone else.

Foxfang knocked on the ground, Tiger on top of her. She tried to struggle free, but it was no use, he was too strong. "Let me go!" she wailed

" You can do it Foxfang!" Tinykit squealed, soon enough biting as deep as she could into Ginger's skin, sadly though only pinching hardly, but not enough to draw blood.

OOC: I was thinking that after this, Tinykit could become an apprentice...
