Welcomes and Ceremonies

Back at her darkened den, the leader laid down, making herself comfortable before rendering herself with Clan-related thoughts. Now that Autumnpaw is a warrior, she can start bearing more of EclipseClan's responsiblity. And that new kit, Poppykit...Splattertop could mentor her, I think. I must remember to let him know, see if he is willing. Diamondstar let out a content sigh before lowering her head parallel to the ground, eyes half-closed.

After more trouble with Snakekit, whom was purposefully pouncing on Smokeshadow's tail. Smokeshadow had seized the kit up by the scruff and stormed to Diamondstar's den.
"Diamondstar!" his meow was muffled by fur from the kit that instinctively was laying limp un this jaws.

The leader's head came up with a jolt. "W-what--oh, it's only you, Smokeshadow." Diamondstar stretched herself out before scrambling up to her feet. "Having some trouble with Snakekit?" She questioned,, shoting a meaningful look at the young kit.

Smokeshadow nodded, before dropping Snakekit roughly on the ground. Birdkit was looking in, but too frightened of Smokeshadow, so she stayed behind.
"Snakekit has been pouncing on my tail for no reason!" he spat, glaring at the young kit, whom glared defiantly back at the warrior.
this kit is approaching the apprentice stage of his life... does he REALLY want to pick fights now? he turned to Diamondstar, "If you can't deal with this, then I'll see to doing something to teach this Mousebrain a lesson!" He unsheathed his claws, "And I assure you," he turned to Snakekit, "It won't be pleasant."

"Ah, I see." An amused smile played around the leader's face, for she had been in Smoekshadow's position before. "Well, in this case, I'll let you try handling them this time." Diamondstar waited to see what the warrior's reaction would be.

Smokeshadow's eyes had a glimmer or dispair at the moment. Snakekit glared defiantly at the warrior. Birdkit had left to the apprentice's den.
Smokeshadow's doubt left him in an instant as he roughly grasped Snakekit's neck scruff. Snakekit almost yelped with shock as Smokeshadow stormed out of the leader's den.

IC: Diamondstar looked half-amused, half-serious when Smokeshadow stormed outside with the naughty kit. "Ah, training in itself..." the leader murmured to herself before remembering something. Right, we have a Gathering tonight. I'll go see who wants to go with me.
That thought out, Diamondstar slowly padded out of her den and into the warm sunshine just outside. Straining her head slightly, the leader sought out for EclipseClan's medicine cat.
