Icekit passes through

the wind ruffled his dark pelt, he stood up as tall as his body would allow him, but soon had to flatten his body close to the ground as he was almost thrown off balance. Eyes as cold as his attitude scanned the open ground. Icekit parted his jaws, tasting the air as his mother had taught him just a moon before.

A scent reached his detection, by the smell there were a few cats nearby. His mother had always told him of the warrior clans, of how she used to be in Thunderclan. His mother named him Icekit, in memory of the life she left behind.

"If you see your father," She had said before he left, "Join the clan in which he is, this life isn't for you."
"But how will I know who he is?"
She had purred into his ear, her breath smelt strongly of sickness and crowfood and her voice was cracked with age, "Head for the clan near the river, reach that river and make your way to any camp you can. but avoid the twolegplace."

She then sent Icekit away, she had assured him she would see him again in the clan of his father.
I'm almost there! he thought excitedly to himself.

It was true in Icekits peers. There were cats afar. Thin and sleek, with strong mustles and brutal force with the wind. The deputy of Windclan, Otternight, was guiding a brutal patrol to skirmish off a barbaric badger that was oblaudged to create its own camp in their own territory. And he didn't like it.
The thing that made his akwardly colored pelt tingle, was the smell of the badger's milk.. If thats what it was.
It was obvious that this brutal fiend wasn't going to leave without one of them going down.
Ignoring all other scents, Otternight carried on, still unsure if they should be doing this in the first place...

Icekit raced off towards Nightclan's border, disappearing behind a few trees.
