Poppykit comes to EclipseClan

Poppykit walked in, next to what she thought was a clan... She heard about them before... before her mother and father died... Before she was left alone, to find food and fend for herself, when she was only just a kit. Poppykit walked up to the entrance of the clan "I-is anyone there?" She called, her voice ringing out through the camp, Who am I kidding? she thought to herself Who would take in a useless kit?

About only a tree length away, or on the other side of the camp, was the medicine cat, just simply sunbathing on a perfectly flat, and comfortable rock. His feline eyebrow was raised when he heard the strange call. He cocked his head to the side to notice a small, harmless kit had found the camp entrance. Immediately, he stood upwards, and lifted his posture comfortably " Yes? Who are you!" he called in confusion. He did like kits, but who was this young one? Where did she come from?

Poppykit turned around, seeing another cat about a tree length away "H-hello?" she mewed, not knowing if this cat would attack

Splattertop felt anxious to the strange cat that cooly barged in. She must have not heard him the first time, " Who are you!" he called, more brisk and louder. He padded closer to the kit, unknowing if she could fight or not.

"I-i'm P-Poppykit" she stammered

Splattertop now was about several fox-lengths away, noticing how torn up, and sober the poor kit was. "... And i'm Splattertop," he let out, much more calm and soothing, finally finding out that this kit was frightened out of her wits. " Where did you come from young one?" he added, unsure of her scent.

"I-I don't know" Poppykit replied, backing a bit away from Splattertop

He only turned his head in curiosity, I see how it is, " Don't be scared, I'll won't bite.... Regularly that is," he started to chuckle ever so slightly. " If you need assistance, i'll give it to you."

"W-what do you want?!" she stepped back some more, frightened more then she has ever been in her life

" To save you!" Splattertop yelled, annoyed with Poppykit and her confusion.
The air turned brisk, and the wind became the only thing heard through the many heartbeats of silence.

"H-how will you d-do th-that?" she mewed, not knowing to trust Splattertop or not

" To protect you from what's out there," he mewed softly, turning his gaze to the entrance of the camp. " A kit like you couldn't survive much longer out there, even in your state."

"I-I'm scared" she wheezed

" don't we all?" he simply mewed to Poppykit, smiling calmly.

"D-do you know where some f-food is?" she asked, hoping that Splattertop would say yes

" Yes, I do," Splattertop mewed gratefully, turning around, and motioning for her to follow softly.

Poppykit followed Splattertop

Splattertop lead Poppykit over to the fresh kill pile. He picked up a plump mouse with his mouth, and placed it in front of the young kit. " Here," he purred slyly, softly beginning to pad away to his den until noticing that she payed more attention to the mouse as big as her head.

Poppykit looked at Splattertop, and then the mouse, Thank you! she thanked StarClan, then started eating the mouse

Splattertop abruptly returned, handling gently, an item bundled together in some brightly olive colored leafs. He softly lowered them and the packaging of herbs slowly retracted their grip on some yellow-tanish seeds.
" After your done, chew on these. Their poppy seeds, and they will reduce your shock," he mewed, bringing forward only two seeds out of the batch of a dozen.

Poppykit gobbled down the mouse, and then she looked down at the poppy seed "A-are they s-safe?" she asked, half expecting them to be poison

"-- As any other prey in the forest, But these may make you a bit tired," He purred, relaxing his shoulders slightly as sunlight began to heat down on his back.

The leader padded by, and noticed the new kit. "Who is this?" Diamondstar asked Spattertop, eying the kit from head to paws.

Having a new scent reach his nostrils, Smokeshadow stalked over until he wasn‘t but a tail lw.gth away. “What is this little scrap?“ There was no hostility in his eyes, but his meow was as sharp as the bite of leafbare.

Diamondstar sniffed the kit. “So?” She prompted Spattertop, a little warily.
